2. What data we collect

Website visitors. When you browse devmerx.com, we collect technical data such as your IP address (truncated), browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, store URL, and the message you send us.

Chat conversations. If you use our chat widget, we collect the conversation content, your email address if you provide it, and technical metadata needed to maintain the conversation.

Shopify app users. For Reorderly and AI Share of Voice, we collect only the data required to run the app. This includes store information, product catalog data (read-only), and app settings. We do not collect customer names, emails, orders, or payment data unless explicitly required for a specific feature and disclosed at that time.

Our chat widget uses cookies to maintain conversation state. These are loaded only after you interact with the widget or consent to functional cookies.

5. Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business:

• Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager — website analytics.
• Crisp — chat and customer messaging.
• Shopify — app hosting, billing, and merchant data processing.
• Formspree / Netlify Forms — contact form handling.

Each third party processes data according to their own privacy policy and only to the extent necessary for the service they provide.

6. Data retention

Contact form and chat data are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default settings. App-related data is retained as long as your store remains connected, plus 90 days after uninstallation unless legal obligations require longer retention.
